Sensible Computer Solutions, LLC provides practical,
results-oriented computer services to home office users, small businesses,
and individuals in Oakland County and the Detroit, MI northern suburbs.
Primary services include hardware and software installation, repairs,
networking, Internet access, security, privacy, and user training,
SCS exists by and for our "Small Business Economy"
providing responsive and reasonably priced services. Our goal is to
provide immediate value and, at the same time, help our clients capitalize
on opportunities to better use scarce time and financial resources.
We speak English -- not "computer-ese".
You won't hear a bunch of techno-babble and TLA's (three letter acronyms),
or be tortured with idealistic IT "visionary" sermons typically
heard from partially-degreed techno-geeks with non-business backgrounds.
From us you will get plain talk and simple truth, even if it hurts!
We promise our best thinking aimed directly at your
needs and problems -- often referred to as your "challenges"
and "opportunities". We apply practical tools of technology
using accepted, proven solutions exercising great caution before suggesting
"bleeding edge" or high-risk alternatives. Our business
focus, plus responsiveness and listening abilities, will probably

We do not sell any software or hardware brands so
there's no temptation to try to convince you to spend your hard earned
dollars on proprietary products or unnecessary gadgets.

First and foremost, we are business people with
computer experience that predates today's PC's. (do you remember IBM
mainframes and 80-column punch cards?) Our expertise was acquired
from both traditional academia and the well-respected "school
of hard knocks". Early on we had no one to provide the help we
needed -- especially at a price we could afford -- so we learned to
do it ourselves and became self-sufficient. We learned to make
small investments do a lot of work. Now, we pass this practical
knowledge, experience, and resourcefulness on to our customers --
at an affordable price.
SCS is a small company without slippery bookkeeping
or layers of bureaucratic bungling. We don't have a "Suzie
Stupid" to answer the phone only to put you on hold ad infinitum.
Instead, we are responsive, attentive, and responsible.
This makes us easy to contact, easy to talk to, and easy to
